Roll Labels
Best when labels will be supplied and applied from a roll, whether by hand or through labeling equipment. When required, the roll can be specified around core size, roll diameter, unwind direction and quantity per roll.
Custom Labels
Roll labels, cut-to-size labels and specialty materials for product packaging, retail, operations and other commercial applications.
Tell us what the label is going on, how it will be applied and what it needs to withstand. We can help work through the material, adhesive, finish and production specifications.
What is the label going on? How will it be applied? What will it be exposed to? Once we understand those things, choosing the material and finish becomes much easier.
Roll or cut to size
Best when labels will be supplied and applied from a roll, whether by hand or through labeling equipment. When required, the roll can be specified around core size, roll diameter, unwind direction and quantity per roll.
Individual labels supplied loose rather than on a roll. A practical format for hand application, promotional use, packaging, short programs or projects where a roll configuration is not necessary.
Materials
Material and adhesive should work with the product, surface and conditions the label will actually encounter.
A straightforward choice for many indoor product, packaging and promotional applications. Coated, uncoated and specialty paper constructions can be considered depending on the project.
A more durable option for applications where paper may not be appropriate. Film constructions may be considered for moisture, refrigeration, handling and similar requirements.
Used when the package or product should remain visible through the label. White ink may also be considered when artwork requires opacity behind selected graphics or color.
Metallic, textured, fluorescent, holographic and other specialty constructions can be considered when appearance, tactile quality or visibility are part of the project.
Application matters
The surface, environment, adhesive and application method can all affect the final construction.
Glass, plastic, corrugated, flexible packaging, metal and other surfaces can behave differently with the same adhesive.
Let us know about refrigeration, freezing, moisture, oils, chemicals, outdoor exposure or heavy handling when those conditions are part of the application.
Permanent, removable and other adhesive constructions may be available depending on the material, surface and performance requirements.
Hand-applied and machine-applied labels can have different production requirements. If the labels will run through equipment, send the applicator specifications when available.
Finishing + enhancements
Decorative and protective options can be considered around the material, artwork, run length and intended use.
Options depend on the material, artwork, quantity and production method. We will confirm what is appropriate for the project before production.
Know your specs?
If you already have a complete label specification, we are happy to work from it. If some of the details are still open, send what you know.
Customer Work
Samples are useful when a material, texture, clear film or specialty finish is difficult to judge on a screen. If you are comparing constructions for a project, ask us what physical samples are available.

Have a label project?
A finished specification, existing label, artwork, container sample or simply a description of what you are trying to produce is enough to start the conversation.
