Two different operating models

The main difference is how much can change from order to order.

The Business Portal works from controlled choices. The Custom Solutions Portal is configured for more variable specifications, quantities, versions, inventory, and account information.

For controlled repeat ordering

Business Portal

A configurable ordering experience for approved products, established specifications, predetermined quantities, and brand-controlled templates.

  • Instant pricing on predetermined specifications and quantities
  • Approved templates with selected fields users can personalize
  • Department, branch, or location-specific order forms
  • Multiple users with assigned roles and permissions
  • Manager approval before selected orders are submitted

Best fit: Organizations that want people or locations to order known products within established brand, product, and approval rules.

Cost: There is no setup fee. The Business Portal is provided as a service to Execuprint clients.

Typical setup: Generally quick and, depending on complexity, may take up to a few weeks.

For flexible and operational workflows

Custom Solutions Portal

A tailored solution for variable specifications, multiple versions, inventory programs, fulfillment requirements, or more complex ordering needs.

  • Flexible instant pricing configured around the approved workflow
  • Multiple versions with different quantities for each version
  • Open account balances and current order status
  • Live inventory levels for stocked programs
  • Quotes and orders connected to Execuprint’s enterprise system

Best fit: Organizations that need more flexibility than a fixed catalog and want quoting, ordering, inventory, and account information connected to production operations.

Cost and qualification: There is no setup fee to the client. Anticipated volume and ongoing work must justify the development and setup investment.

Current setup timing: Plan on at least 1–2 months. More complex builds may take longer depending on scope and current development workload.
